Those are some stories I had never heard about Dad. Although I’ve never had anyone “teach” me how to sing I think we all picked up some basics from Dad. While I don’t sing regularly I’ve always enjoyed it.

I don’t think about it very much which is why I am probably not nearly as good at it as you are.

I didn’t know that I was a black sheep because I haven’t moved around enough. If always figured there was some other reason I was the black sheep.

Seriously, houzro certainly is something that merits working towards.
I wish I was optimistic enough to believe that all of the criminals we have locked up could be counseled back to houzro. Though I am sure that a great many of them could. I am afraid that I do believe in evil people and hav come to the conclusion that they are to be avoided.

Margaret Maron is one of my favorite authors. I’ve read all of the books in the series and have enjoyed them all. I have several favorite authors. Many of them have female leads – Patricia Cornwell, Marcia Muller, Linda Fairstein, Sue Grafton and J. A. Jance. I’ve read through all of Dick Francis, but he didn’t write anything for years until his son started working with him recently If you haven’t tried either Jonathon or Faye Kellerman, you might enoy them also..

Yeah, that whole last paragraph sucks. I meant to say that I am aware of more criticism of MMA than I am of MRC.

Eric Boehlert of MMA used almost the same line in his latest post.

Right now, I’m purposely behind the curve. I have no idea who the hot writers are, because I’m reading lots of books by the same writers in order to analyze styles, plots, etc. I like Lee Child, Margaret Maron, John Lescroart, Dana Stabenow, Dick Francis, and Kate Wilhelm, each for different reasons.

I think you mean to say the Media Matters thinks the news is biased against the Left, or For the Right.

What;s the line I hear — Right wing media critics want the media to be more conservative; left wing critics want the media to be more competent.
